Charlie Henderson

The Gazette
July 22, 1896

It is with much regret that The Gazette is called upon to chronicle the death of Mr. Charlie Henderson, son of Mr. A. B. Henderson, which sad event occurred last Friday night at his father’s residence at Spearsville, from the effects of a prolonged attack of slow fever. Mr. Henderson was an intelligent young man of excellent moral character. He had only recently entered upon the stage of manhood, and it is indeed sad that one with such a bright future before him should be stricken by the hand of death in the beginning of his career.

We extend our deepest sympathy to the bereaved relatives and friends.
