Graveside services for Alvern Horton Bevans, 76, of Bernice, La. will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 26, 2021 at Hamilton Cemetery, in Dubach, La., with Bro. Rick Walters officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Mrs. Bevans passed away on March 24, 2021. Mrs. Bevans loved her yard and her beautiful flowers, and it showed that she had a “green thumb”. Mrs. Alvern loved all of her children and grandchildren and she loved her husband dearly.
Mrs. Bevans was preceded in death by her parents, Ted Horton and Mary Lou Brougton; and two sons, Phillip Jackson and Billy Flurry.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Billy Bevans; children, Jeffery Jackson (Laura), Christopher Jackson and Christina Jackson (Rebecca Harty); grandchildren, Reva Hall, Brandon Jackson, Kiffany Jackson, Nathan Henry, Joseph Henry, Skylar Jackson, Camden Bell and Slade Jackson; great-grandchildren, Jozie Jackson, Chloe Jackson, Madyson Berry, Hayden Jackson, Bentley Hall, Brendan Hall, Carleigh Graves, Mason Henry, Kensley Matlock and Anzlee Hall; siblings, Shirley Knowles, Jackie Mabry and Donnie Horton; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
