Graveside services for Mr. Oliver ‟Raymond” Jones 82, of Farmerville, LA will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Farmerville. Visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in Farmerville. Officiating the service will be Bro. John Rushing under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville, LA.
Raymond was born on September 15, 1938 in Spencer, Louisiana and passed away on December 31, 2020 at his home in Farmerville, LA. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church in the Sardis community.
He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Joiner Jones of Farmerville, LA; his parents Ed and Irene Jones of Spencer, LA; his two sons, Rickey Glynn Jones and Raymond Keary Jones.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his two sons, Mickey Jones and wife Karen, Mark Jones and wife Rae both of Farmerville, LA; two granddaughters, Nikki Silmon and husband Rickie, Heather Doster and husband Daniel, four great-grandchildren, Layla Silmon, Landon Silmon, Matthew Jones, and Brooklynn Doster; two sisters, Eloise Nunez and husband Johnny, Marilyn Davis and husband Robert, one brother Ronnie Jones and wife Trinky and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mike Jones, Tyler Cranford, Stanley Redden, Randy Giddens, Heath Redden, and John Bradford.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackie Murray and Joe Adkins.
