Private family graveside services for David Lynton Ginn, 86, of Farmerville, La., will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Sardis Cemetery with Bro. Kurt Auger officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Mr. Ginn went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, December 29, 2020. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Farmerville. Mr. Ginn retired from General Motors and worked as a Millright.
Mr. Ginn was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso & Aldena W. Ginn.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Peggy Stansbury Ginn; three sons, David Wayne Ginn (Lisa), Kenny Ginn and Keith Ginn (Shelia); one daughter, Debbie Ginn Plummer (Stephen); five grandchildren, Candice Pohlman, Tyler Ginn (Morgan), Victoria Ballard (Matt), Houston Cole (Jennifer) and Lance Ginn; six great-grandchildren, Caroline Hart, Colin Pohlman, Parker Lea Cole, Olivia Cole, George Ginn and Sartor Ginn; one brother, Larry Ginn (Wanda); one sister, Anita Hicks; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
