Former Resident Here Succumbs

Funeral services for E. M. Decker, 62, were held Monday at Alto, Texas, following his death from a lengthy illness at a Jacksonville, Texas, hospital about noon Sunday.

He is survived by his widow and two sons, Charles and Moore Decker, and a number of more distant relatives.

Mr. Decker was for many years a resident of Farmerville where he was engaged in the lumber business, being a part owner of the Whiteman-Decker Lumber Co. which was in business here for a number of years. He leaves a host of friends in this section who will regret to learn of his death.

Attending the funeral services from Farmerville were Mr. and Mrs. Duke Selig, Mr. and Mrs. H. Preaus, Mrs. Edward Everett, Dr. C. C. Francis, A. C. Dykes and J. R. James.
