Mrs. Hettie Mathews, well known citizen of this community, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Aylmer Nyegaard near Farmerville Saturday evening, January 21.
Funeral services were held at the Liberty Baptist church Sunday, January 22, conducted by the Rev. Thurmon Spinks and the Rev. W. C. Smith, both of Farmerville. Interment followed in the cemetery at Liberty, under direction of the Kilpatrick Furneral home, of Farmerville.
Surviving are one son, Ira Mathews, of Farmerville; two daughters, Mrs. Aylmer Nyegaard of Farmerville, and Mrs. Jord Lee Hendrix, of Rayville.
