Funeral services for Benny P. Ford, 69, of Linville will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Linville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Mr. Ford went to his heavenly home April 17, 2017. Benny was a retired truck driver for the Union Parish Police Jury. He enjoyed playing Domino’s, Bingo and visiting with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Burnell Ford; mother, Lona Russell; son, Ben Ford; and sister, Gaye Day.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Lisa Cain & husband, Chris; daughter-in-law, Amber Anthony; step-daughter, Kristi Bergeron & husband, Brandon; two step-sons, Stuart Williams & wife, Angie and Scott Williams & wife, Jessi; three sisters, Sandra Perry & husband, Jodie, Faye Dixon & husband, Billy Joe and Billie Bowen; twelve grandchildren, Jason Matthews & wife, Ashley, Samantha Tucker & husband, Matt, Ryan Conley, Rylee Anthony, Kamryn Williams, Dean Williams, Ryan Williams, Ethan Williams, Kaci Bagley & husband, Max, Bryson Hatfield, Colten Cain & wife, Hannah and Callie Cain; nine great-grandchildren, Maverick Tucker, Jaxon Matthews, Brantley Matthews, Mason Matthews, Nolan Matthews, Ben Bagley, Cash Cain, Cannon Ford, Carson Cain and Millie Cain; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Roy Reppond, Matt Hall, Dale Dupree, Brandon Dixon, Jared Bowen and Kevin Dupree.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dewey Rhodes, Buster Maxey, Stein Bearden, Jeromy Pruitt, Pete Parks and Robin Cox.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
The family would like to thank the staff and directors at Arbor Lake for all of the care and love given to Benny.
