Funeral services for Wanda Lou Wales, 75, of Farmerville will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery in North Little Rock, Ar. with Bro. Buel Lewallen officiating. Burial will be in the Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Mrs. Wales, a homemaker, went to her heavenly home January 4, 2017. She was a native of Tuckerman, Ar. and moved to Pensacola, Florida where she spent most of her lifetime. Being a Pastor’s wife, their ministry took them to Florida, New Mexico and Pine Bluff, AR and Bald Knob, AR. Mrs. Wales was an excellent cook, was a caretaker when called upon, and she loved to sing in the church choir. She loved her family, her dogs and was a best friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Rev. Ronald Wales; parents, Lloyd & Ruby Dawson Lewallen; two brothers, Ernie Yonker and Delbert Lewallen; and one sister, Helen Lewallen.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Rhonda Lee Reeves of Pine Bluff, AR. and Tonya Veatch & husband, Walter of Farmerville, LA.; two brothers, Larry Lewallen & wife, Vickie of Whitehall, AR. and Keith Yonker of Bauxite, AR.; three sisters, Janell Totten & husband, Evan of Parker, CO., Tamara Sublett & husband, Michael of Bauxite, AR. and Darla Duncan & husband, Rocky of Clayton, N.C.; six grandchildren, Randall Veatch & wife, Cassie, Vanasse Pierce & husband, Michael, Leah Harris & husband, Josh, Robert Ridder, Christopher Reeves & wife, Dina and Victoria Watson; and numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La.
