Funeral services for Mr. Miller Booth will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Farmerville United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Hank Hamilton assisted by Rev. Don Reeves. Interment will follow in Farmerville City Cemetery, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Farmerville.
He was born on February 21, 1922 to Zack and Clara Booth and passed away on December 4, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Miller retired from the IMC plant. He was married for over 70 years to Ernestine prior to her death. He also served in the United States Army Air Corps, played baseball with the Big 8, and enjoyed hunting and fishing on D’Loutre. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ernestine Beal Booth, his son Ronnie Booth, his siblings, Ernest Booth, Arvee Fletcher, and Billy Jack Booth.
He is survived by his sons, Larry Booth and wife Teresa and Scotty Booth and wife Terri, all of Farmerville; his grandchildren, Kim, Wendy, Joe, Dori, and Ben and six great-grandchildren, step grandson John Salter and family and brother Coy Booth and his wife Edna.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Farmerville United Methodist Church.
