Funeral services for Jo Ann “Jody” Anderson Perdue of Downsville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Stephanie Green officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 8 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow at Hasley Cemetery.
Born on July 7, 1934, Jody died on July 22, 2016 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center of West Monroe, LA. Jody was known for her charismatic personality and quick wit. She had a “saying” for every occasion.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Perdue; sons, Joe Perdue and Jay Perdue (Connie); her granddaughter Harley Dawn Broadwater; grandson, Jason Perdue (Amanda); and the shining stars of her life, her great grandsons, Hunter and Bentley Perdue; as well as her loyal companion, Spikey “Little Man” Perdue.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Dude Anderson and Ollie Marie Camp Anderson of Monroe, Louisiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Parish Humane Society or a charity of choice.
