Funeral services for Don Wall, 83, of Downsville will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 at Farmerville First Assembly of God with Bro. Robbie Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mr. Wall, a retired boilermaker, went to his heavenly home September 23, 2014. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Huey & Clara Wall, mother-in-law, Mary Welch, father-in-law, Chester D. Mansker, an infant daughter, and 1 sister, Arlon Moore.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Mary Wall of Downsville; 1 daughter, Elizabeth Meredith of Downsville; 1 son, Donnie Wall & wife, Sandy of Downsville3 brothers: Gene Wall & wife, Darla of Swartz, Nob Wall & wife, Shirley of Downsville and Milton Wall of Swartz; 1 sister: Polly Spencer & husband, Zach of Farmerville; 4 grandchildren: Nike Barber & husband, Chris of Farmerville, Joshua Meredith & wife, Lacy of Farmerville, Ariel Wall of Downsville, and Laney Wall of Downsville; 3 great grandchildren: Gillian Ebarb of Farmerville, Jake Childress of Farmerville and Ariannah Wade of Downsville; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; and his coffee drinking buddies at McDonald’s.

Pallbearers will be Bill Roberts, Chris Barber, Randy Wall, D.K. Alford, Tracy Rawls and Jimmy Wall. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Popwell, Ron Autrey, Emmett Sparks, J.C. Zagone and Mark Maddox.

Visitation is 5-8PM Thursday at Farmerville First Assembly of God.

The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of Glenwood Hospital, Dr. Watson, Dr. Islam, Dr. Archie, and the nurses and staff of Fresenius Dialysis for their loving care.
