Jimmy Glenn Day

Funeral services for Jimmy Glenn Day, 60, of Popular Bluff, Missouri , were held at 2 pm., on Sunday, July 20, 2014, at the Mt. Nebo Community Church in Downsville under the direction of Cotrell Funeral Service of Popular Bluff.

Mr. Day, formerly of Albertville, Alabama, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Day was born July 18, 1953 in Mansfield, Louisiana. He attended First Baptist Church in Albertville, Alabama, and was previously employed as a manager for Lowe’s Home Improvement. Mr. Day was a raging LSU fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family, reading and playing golf.

Mr. Day is survived by: His wife of 20 years, Paula Talbert Day; five children – Robbie Day McGowen and wife Crystal and children Kayla and Brock of Boaz, Ala., Sarah Day and children Collin and Avery of West Monroe, Joself Forrester of Oxford, Ala., Keither Forrester of Kaden Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan and Kyle Forrester of Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville, Ark.; his father, Donald Day of Farmerville; two sisters – Sandy Day of Monroe and Brenda Rosson and husband Jimmy of Farmerville; and five brothers: Donnie Day and wife Beverly of Fairbury, Nebr., Roger Day and wife Charlotte of Monroe, Jerry Day of Johnson City, Tenn., Jeff Day and wife Katie of Arab, Ala. and Kevin Day of Boaz, Ala.

He was proceeded in death by: His mother, Jimmie Dell Crow Day infant brother Richard Scott Day.
