Graveside services for Mrs. Ima Ray “Sam” Moss, 81, of Farmerville will be held at 2:00pm Friday, April 25th at Crossroads Cemetery with Bro. Glyn Nale officiating and under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moss, a homemaker, went to her heavenly home April 24, 2014. She was a caring mom and grandmother, a good cook, and she loved to fish. She was a member of Rocky Branch Church of Christ
She is preceded in death by her parents: Forrest & Essel Pardue; 1 brother, J. T. Pardue; husbands: Whitman D. Smith and Jim Moss; and special friend, George Eubanks.
Left to cherish her memory are her 3 sons: Stan Smith & wife, Roslyn, Scott Smith & wife, Suzette, and Sidney “Hank” Smith; 4 daughters: Sandra Ward & husband, Brock, Cindy Smith, JoAnn Stephens & husband, Ron, and Penny Takewell & husband, Mitch; 1 brother: Jim Pardue & wife, Glenda; 2 sisters: Marie Pardue Nolan and Patsy Reeves; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 2 special friends: Arnita Laster and Teresa Silmon Smith.
Visitation will be 11am-1:00pm Friday at Farrar Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
The family expresses appreciation to special nurses Brandie Russell and Shamia Banks and to the staff of Glenwood Hospital.
