Funeral services for Mrs. Marcelle Bryan Hollis, 92, of Spearsville will be 2:00pm Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Spearsville First Baptist Church with Bros. James Miller, John Hollis and David Martin officiating. Special music by Alisha Yarbrough and family friend, Ethel Wilkes is to speak. Burial will follow in Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery, Spearsville. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

 

Mrs. Hollis, a homemaker, died August 31, 2012. Her ministry was that of a caregiver, caring for many family members. She was a lifelong member of Spearsville First Baptist Church and a special aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Joe & Francis ‘Fannie’ Bryan; husband, Stanley Hollis, an infant son and 5 brothers: Gurther, Ethridge, Odis, Gordon and Gleen Bryan.

Survivors are her sister, Lucille B. Neal of Farmerville, a host of nieces & nephews and many friends.

Pallbearers are Benny Thomas, Michael Breland, Harold Allbritton, Barry Bryan, Gleen Michael Breland and Oz Perdue. Honorary pallbearers are J. T. Saunders, Jerry Ferrone, Tony Thomas, Clyde Barron, John Colvin Saunders, Rudy Hollis, and Claude Hollis.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00pm Sunday at Spearsville First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Marcelle Bryan Hollis, a homemaker died Friday.  Services were 2 p.m. Sunday at Spearsville First Baptist Church in Spearsville.  Visitation was 1 p.m. Sunday till time of service at the church.  Burial followed at the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery in Spearsville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
